Three decades after the landmark Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, Gender Priority Strategy (GEPS) has unveiled a comprehensive advocacy tool-kit designed to accelerate progress toward gender equality worldwide. The GEPS Tool-Kit addresses the sobering reality that despite 30 years of advocacy, not a single country has achieved true gender equality.
The tool-kit emerges from extensive grassroots work across continents, where GEPS leaders have traveled locally and globally, speaking, presenting, and advocating for women's rights while participating in policy formulations. Yet the solutions to gender issues remain only partially realized, with younger generations becoming increasingly disorganized, middle-aged women growing self-introspective, and older women witnessing the deepening feminization of poverty.
The GEPS Tool-Kit provides practical resources for implementing our PEARS framework—Policy, Education, Advocacy, Research, and Solutions. It includes policy templates, training modules, advocacy strategies, research methodologies, and proven solutions for addressing gender imbalance, character development, intergenerational connections, gender therapy, and bias elimination.
