Gender Priority Strategy (GEPS) introduces the Gender Priority Strategy Accelerator, an intensive program designed to fast-track the development of emerging women leaders in gender advocacy, policy development, and community transformation. This flagship initiative addresses the urgent need for trained advocates who can implement gender-responsive solutions at local, national, and international levels.
The Accelerator program provides participants with immersive training in all five pillars of the PEARS framework. Through a combination of virtual workshops, mentorship from GEPS Global Governing Council members, practical field assignments, and collaborative projects, participants develop the competencies needed to lead transformative gender equality initiatives.
Special emphasis is placed on developing skills in policy analysis and implementation, strategic advocacy, research methodologies, and solution design. Participants also receive training in International Days Observance coordination and Community Leadership Development, enabling them to mobilize resources and build coalitions for sustained impact.
The first Accelerator cohort includes 50 women leaders from 25 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Each participant is paired with experienced mentors and receives ongoing support to implement a capstone project in their community. Applications for the 2025 cohort open in January, with scholarships available for women from underserved communities.
