GEPS Expands: Chartered Institute Launched in USA with Global Governing Council

Gender Priority Strategy (GEPS) announces a major expansion with the official chartering of the Chartered Institute for Gender Priority Strategy USA, alongside the establishment of a distinguished Global Governing Council featuring ambassadors, First Ladies, and renowned gender equality advocates from across continents.

The Global Governing Council is chaired by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Devon Bannister, with UN Representative and Global Coordinator Ambassador Prof. Ada JUNI Menakaya leading strategic initiatives. The council includes H.E. Ann Marie Davis, First Lady of Bahamas; H.E. Ambassador Sophia Tesfamariam Yohannes, Permanent Representative to the UN for Eritrea; and Dr. Padmini Murthy, among other distinguished leaders.

H.E. Amb. Dr. Mrs. Alanyingi Uduak Sylva serves as Executive Global Ambassador and Chairperson for GEPS Africa, while Ambassador Nadine Grigsby coordinates programs globally. Regional coordination includes Hon. Chris Nonyelum representing Africa and Ibeh Sucex Emeka as Regional Coordinator for the continent. H.E. Ambassador Dr. Charles Ntiamoh Mensah leads Media and Public Relations efforts worldwide.

This institutional expansion strengthens GEPS' capacity to deliver executive education programs, implement gender-responsive policies, conduct critical research, and provide practical solutions across all regions. The chartered status ensures recognized certification for participants in our Gender Priority Strategy Education (GPSE) and other programs, while the Global Governing Council brings unprecedented expertise and networks to advance our mission of gender equality worldwide.
